biography
Commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U S Army through the Army R.O.T.C program at The Ohio State University in December 1969.
Attended Basic Quartermaster Officer training at Fort Lee, VA beginning in March, 1970, then Supply Staff Officer training in May, 1970.
Stationed at Headquarters, U S Army Petroleum Depot, Ryukyu Islands from July, 1970 until November, 1971. Served as the unit Administrative Officer among many other various duties.
