biography
At the age of 17 I enlisted "Airborne Unassigned" US Army in July of 1963. I had my Basic and Advanced Infantry Training at Ft. Ord, CA. Basic Airborne Training at Ft. Benning, GA. And served the remainder of my 3 year active enlistment with the 101st Abn. Division, Ft. Campbell, KY. - HHC 2/506 Recon Pltn. & 3rd Brigade Headquarters Company as the Brigade Draftsman. My ETS from active duty was in July of 1966 and I was Honorably Discharged in July of 1969, having completed my 3 years of inactive service. I am a Vietnam Era Veteran.
I am proud to have served with the 2nd Bn. of the 506th Airborne Infantry as well as in the 3rd Brigade Headquarters Company. AIRBORNE & CURRAHEE!
