Roger D Stump

My father was a Navy Seabee in the South Pacific during WWII, my brother was Army 1967 to 1969 in Vietnam, I enlisted out of High School, one of my sons retired from the Air Force. my step-son was a Marine in Iraq. Colonel Michael Stump(f) Jr. (grandfather 8 generations back) was aide-decamp to George Washington; our family has a strong feeling for military service. I was in boot at NRC Great Lakes, IL; "A" school at NTC San Diego; transferred to USS Shenandoah (AD26) in Norfolk but my orders were modified in route to NAU NPTU Idaho Falls, ID. In 1975 I was transferred to NRC San Diego, CA.
