biography
I enlisted, largely due to the 1968 Tet.
I enlisted in the late summer of 1968 & left for boot camp on Oct 1st…2 days after my 17th birthday.
I was a Comm Center Operator and served in that capacity at the FMFPAC HQ at Camp Smith Hawaii & was Message Center Chief for the HQ Battery, 1/12 Kaneohe Hawaii. Additionally I spent 1 1/2 years with the Marine Barracks, Long Beach Naval Station.
