Served as Photographers mate assigned to Heavy Attack Squadron 6 (VAH-6) but was sent to temporary duty at Photo Lab where ever we were: (FAPL San Diego, NAS Whidbey Island Washington State and USS Ranger CVA-61) On Ranger spent most duty time on O-7 level taking motion pictures of launching and recovery of aircraft, then processing and sending this film to the respective Squadrons. In port, one of the photographers taking still pictures of visiting guest. At Whidbey, I took aerial pictures of every building in the 13th Naval District and aerial mapping.
