biography
During active duty, I was a striker for Electricians Mate but never made rank due to an injury while on a shake-down cruise on the USS Columbus while in Cuban waters. After being released from the hospital I was put into the Inactive Reserves from September 1972 until March 1975. The USS Columbus was decommissioned in 1975 and is not listed among those in your list of ships.
