biography

I grew up in Towson, Maryland. I enlisted in the Army in 1965 because I knew I was getting a draft notice and wanted to chose my own MOS. My MOS was 64B, Light Vehicle Driver. I took my basic and AIT at Fort Jackson, SC. Shipped out to Vietnam in January 1966. Assigned to 670th Transportation Co (Med Trk) in Saigon then unit moved to Cam Ranh Bay. Rotated back to Conus in January 1967 and was assigned to Ft Meyer, VA. Remainder of my service was as personal driver for a one star general at the Pentagon. ETS'd in September 1968 and took my girlfriend to New York City for a celebration weekend. Worked as an accountant and property manager for construction materials company.
Retired with two children and two grandsons.
