Qualified for OCS-Quantico, VA; Language School, Ft Devans, MA; Communications Training Center NCTC Corry Field, Pensacola, FL.
Chose NCTC, since was too young for OCS. Fired Expert with M14 & Sharpshooter with 45. Joined the Co “K” USMC Silent Drill Team, performed memorial service in Mississippi for fallen Marine.
Communications Technician (R) Branch [Morse Code] Basic & Advanced for MOS 2571. Made CPL & SGT at Co”G” Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico. Played on Co USMC softball, basketball, flag football & base USN-USMC baseball team.
Received an early discharge for college. Joined the James M. Slay Detachment #329 Marine Corps League in Richmond, VA 2019 to continue serving. Semper Fi
