biography
Drafted into military service on 9 June 1969. Completed BCT at Fort Bliss, Texas during the summer of 1969 and AIT at Fort Ord, California during the late summer and early fall of 1969. Arrived in-country on 11 Nov 1969 and served with the 3rd Battalion (Air Mobile/Air Assault), 506th Infantry Regiment (Currahee), 101st Airborne Division, in the RVN. Later assigned and served with the Medical Company/Medical Holding Company, U.S. Darnall Army Hospital, Fort Bliss, Texas. ETS 7 May 1971.
