biography
After leaving basics and itr I was trained in fire control in Memphis, Tennessee. After more schooling at El Toro and Whidbey Island, I was Stationed at Cherry Point MCAS. From there I went to DaNang Vietnam working on the A-6 Intruder. I was there until the last squadron pulled out of Viet Nam. I served in VMA 242 and VMA 225 while there. From there I returned to Cherry Point MCAS in squadron VMA 332 until my discharge in December of 1971. Our oldest daughter was born at Cherry Point December 10 of 1971. I worked at several factories in our home town of East Stroudsburg until finding my calling at Tobyhanna Army Depot until I retired.
