Grew up in Buffalo NY .Joined Marines in 64. Served in Mike 3/7 from 64 to 66. In 65 M co. embarked the USS Taladega APA-208. Received orders to land in Qui Nhon RVN to help in defense of military complex there and landed by LCVP-5. Reembarked ship stayed in reserve. Visited Pratas Island, Subic Bay , and Hong Kong and then returned to Chu Lai RVN to participate in Operation Starlite. Some other operations Piranha, Rhino ,Black Ferret , Hum Bug , Mallard , Big Charlie , Ground Hog , Texas ,and last one for me was Hot Springs. We were all friends in Vietnam watched each others back. After Vietnam I was stationed in Onslow beach in Camp Lejeune till my time was up .Returned Home
