Anthony V Fasolo

biography

Born and raised in Philadelphia. Graduated from Temple U with a teaching certificate and a commission in the Army. Spent 20 years in the Army with tours in Korea, Vietnam, Germany and Italy as well as the USA. I was in the USARV Hq, AG Division, Casualty and Medevac branch reporting Army Casualties to the Pentagon, following up with letters of sympathy and reports on all wounded, missing and hospitalized. When I left the service I worked for the Marriott Hotel Corps for six years (four in Loss prevention and two in hotel management)and then in 1987 returned to the Army as a DAC serving in Italy, Germany and DC area. Left the Pentagon one year after the plane hit in 2001. Married for 60 years, three children and four grand children. Sub teacher in the Loudoun County Public School System for 15 years and now retired and active in the community in Loudoun County VA.

Hi, Anthony. I found something with your name on it while cleaning out my dad’s garage. See the attached photo. His name was Hugh LaMonaca. He graduated from Temple in 1951 and he passed away this past January. This looks like a fraternity paddle you may have presented to him. Thought you’d like to see it.
