FEDERAL SERVICE
Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration
Contracting Officer Representative (COR): Secure Flight Program. Conducted full life-cycle, cradle-to-grave acquisition management of multi-year, multi-million dollar federal contracts. Represented Contracting Officer as Subject Matter Expert (SME), for contractor execution and performance.
Program Analyst: Crew Vetting Program. Security Directive (SD) and Emergency Amendment (EA) compliance liaison for covered air carriers operating to, from, or overflying the U.S.
Supervisor: Alien Flight Student Program. Provided oversight for contractor performance to ensure statuary compliance for conducting threat assessments of non-U.S. citizens seeking flight certification(s) regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Screening Supervisor: Maritime Security Pilot Program. Deployed to test explosives detection technology developed to screen private and commercial vehicles transported on a passenger ferry.
Screening Manager: Rail Security Pilot Program. Deployed to support testing of emerging explosive detection technologies, evaluating cost, impact and effectiveness for effectiveness in long-haul and short-line rail routes operated in climate controlled and non-climate controlled environments.
Supervisory Transportation Securing Screener: Deployed nationally to train new-hire security screeners in support of federalization of approximately 429 U.S. commercial airports.
PRIVATE SECTOR EXPERIENCE
Southwest Airlines
Customer Service Representative (CSR): Oklahoma City, OK. Engaged customers to affect a “first call resolution” response to proactively make, modify, or cancel passenger reservations, utilizing web-based systems, policies, protocols and Contract of Carriage. Took initial ownership for issues outside scope of duties to assist as able or escalate as necessary to more effectively address passenger concerns.
Electronic Data Systems
Business Process Management: Nashville, TN. Responsible for routine and ad-hoc programmatic data processing deliverables called out in the Statement of Work (SOW). Achieved success by delivering all required Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL’s) on-time and within budget.
Service Delivery Management: Spring Hill, TN. Provided on-site customer support for acquisition and full-lifecycle management of customized hardware and software platforms. Achieved 100% accountability for all procurements and end of lifecycle disposal.
Project Management: Wilmington, DE. Project Lead. Assessed programmatic systems, prepared recovery plans, and coordinated risk mitigation strategies for the projected Year 2000 (Y2K) mainframe and end-user date anomaly. Subsequently, all systems functioned without interruption.
United Airlines
Administrative Coordinator: Nashville, TN. Conducted daily review, classification and roll-up of aircraft departure delays and turn-around times. Recorded cash sales and sundry expenses. Ordered, tracked and accounted for ticket stock and cash vouchers. Assisted Customer Service Staff with operating jetway, aircraft cleaning, customer boarding and support as needed.
Onboard Service Coordinator: Philadelphia, PA. Joined composite staff to operationally establish a flight attendant domicile of approximately 350 Flight Attendants. Provided front-line administrative and operational support of localized SOP’s, centralized policies and flight attendant contract.
Flight Safety Data Coordinator: Chicago, IL. Maintained safety report databases to aggregate and analyze data to promote operational risk mitigation and execute internal safety awareness programs. Provided support to external agencies for instances of accident and incident investigation. Supported publication and distribution of United Airlines safety research via “SAFETY LINER” magazine.
Midway Airlines
Crew Scheduler: Chicago, IL. Responsible for schedule integrity of crewmember assignments, effecting modification and reassignment of cockpit and cabin crewmembers within scope of FAA Regulations, Union Contracts and Memorandums of Agreements (MOA’s).
Piedmont Airlines
Station Agent: Philadelphia, PA. Responsible to service, load, offload and provision aircraft.
MILITARY SERVICE
U.S. Army: Special Forces, Property Book Non Commissioned Officer (NCO). Delegated Authority for all Supply and Logistics during Battalion start-up, fielding, and deployment.
U.S. Army, Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF): Privileged to support the U.S. response to 9/11 with deployment to Afghanistan and subsequent assignment as Liaison to U.S. Air Force.
U.S. ARMY, FT, BRAGG, NC. Honored to enlist and ultimately lead a 12-man Combat Engineering Squad with the 82nd Airborne Division.
U.S. ARMY RESERVE/NATIONAL GUARD. Served in multiple units; achieved additional qualifications as Parachute Rigger, Radio Operator-Maintainer, and Supply Specialist.
